We now possess the long-awaited copy of the Bible in Spanish which has the study aids available in the English edition since 1985. They went on sale last Wednesday at the Distribution Center which is on the street by the entrance to the apartments. We went in the afternoon, and Sis. Patron told us that in the morning when she arrived before 10:00, there was a line waiting for her. The copies of the large-print edition sold out within 1/2 hour.

Last Saturday when the excursions from outside Mérida came to the Temple, the members took bags of Bibles for themselves and other members. Sunday, Bishop De la Cruz of Mulsay had his softcover edition on the stand.
This will be a great blessing, for until now, the Spanish-speaking members of the Church have gotten by with non-denominational footnotes in the Bible and a thematic feature similar to the Topical Guide that was found at the back of the triple combination. This is a star in President Monson's publishing experiences.
