21 Dec. 2009--Carol's birthday #68 turned out to be a very good day :)
We were waking up when the phone rang and Bro. Oropeza sang "Las Mañanitas" from Puebla.
I felt like a cool young person and so blessed to receive greetings on Facebook, emails and phone calls from family and friends, pictures of grandkids sent from cell phones and good wishes from our temple family.
The missionary couples had a cake and ice cream party at Smith's apartment in the afternoon--pictures courtesy of Elder Mortenson.




Gerhard had just finished singing "I love you so much..."
