Gerhard and I could have taken pictures of our thumbs, as we went to vote before going to church meetings. We went across the street on 70th for Gerhard to vote at 8:30 AM but the polls weren't open. The people waiting in line said that my place would be down by the ADO bus station, so we walked to 71st street. That was not the correct place, so some men took us to 65th street where I voted. With my black thumb, I was through, but Gerhard wanted to try another place down by 59th street/ That wasn't right, either, so we walked back to the first place and he was able to vote there.
Now we both had black thumbs, so we went home, showered and went to Church meetings with Canek Ward.
