In an article in the Eastern Arizona Courier, staff member Brian Wright commented on feeling a strong connection with God as he toured the building. The Gila Valley Arizona Temple will be the third temple in Arizona and the 132nd operating temple after it is dedicated May 23. It will serve about 21,000 church members in its temple district that includes southeast Arizona and southwest New Mexico.
