This is such a tender picture of Pres. and Sis. Monson. He gave an impromptu tribute to her and reported on her healing after a fall. Each time he mentions her, it is with great appreciation for her support over the years.
Pres. Uchtdorf - The wrinkled, dirty $20 dollar bill is still worth the full sum. Every person we meet is a VIP to our Heavenly Father.
Elder Richard G. Scott - Learn about the Atonement and apply it in our lives. The Father did not abandon His Son. He withdrew His spirit and made it possible for His perfect Son to win the eternal fruits of the Atonement. The Son knew He had to perform the Atonement perfectly, He would atone even for the deepest depravity, and He would be required to perform it by Himself, alone.
Donald L. Hallstrom - In the most difficult circumstances of life, there is often only one source of peace. We must turn to the Lord and not take offense, but hold our course. Our lives and succeeding generations will be influenced.
Cheryl Lant - Christ’s invitation to seek Him is an invitation to know who He is, what He has done for us and what He has asked us to do. Coming to Christ, and eventually seeing His face, comes only as we draw close to Him through our faith and our actions. It comes through a lifetime of effort.
Quentin L. Cook - Our "higher ground" in times of spiritual danger is to know that Christ fulfilled His sacred mission as Savior and Redeemer, that we will be resurrected from death and have our spirits reunited with our bodies, and that based on personal worthiness we may through His grace, have the glorious opportunity of entering back into the presence of God.

President Monson -“He is Risen!” Look to the Lighthouse of the Lord.... Always remember that so that we might have every chance of success, Heavenly Father provided a Savior who would suffer and die for us. Not only would He atone for our sins, but as a part of that atonement He would also overcome the physical death to which we would be subject because of the Fall of Adam.
