Institute Graduation June 13, 2010 was a fun night for us as we celebrated with some of the graduates, the Institute director, the stake presidents and the mission president. The visiting authority, Elder Rodríguez Zedillo also was present to help hand out the diplomas.

Some of these fantastic young people are serving as temple workers; another is the bishop of a ward and his wife is a "special" worker" (one who doesn't have a shift but comes as a worker when the ward comes).
(L-Regina, R-Barbudo)They are so happy to meet their goal to graduate from Institute.
Another reason to take pictures was so we could send them to the Mortensons whose mission ended at Eastertime, but who still think fondly of their students.

The stake presidents in Mérida, L to R: Alberto Conde, Jasper Lira, Luis Humberto Aguilar, Larry Balam, Manuel Zapata, Armando Carreon. When Alejandro Ordaz, the Institute director, joined the group they teased him about this being a prophetic picture.
