The last week we were at the temple we saw people accomplish goals they had set.

Spencer Euan is Nacho's right-had man. When we came to Mérida, he didn't have a recommend although he is a returned missionary, so had to stay in the waiting room or outside. He kept working to be worthy to enter the temple. He had baptized his girlfriend who later became his wife in a civil ceremony, but they worked to be ready to be sealed when she had been a member for a year. After the birth of their baby, they waited until the baby could be left with relatives for their sealing and then be brought to be sealed to them. This was a very happy evening at the temple.

Nacho and his wife show their happiness, too.

Alberto González and his wife were important people at the sealing.

President and Sister Schill were very happy.

Sister Dyer had made every effort to make this a lovely evening.

It took some coaxing, but we got a picture of this kiss.

A perfect night for a marriage for time and eternity--in the right place, to the right person

Brother Eduardo Güemez (left) had worked for several months to resolve problems in newFamilySearch so he could have ordinances performed for his grandfather, uncles and aunts. He and his wife were very happy that his brother could accompany them on this special night. Gerhard performed the sealings and I was there to rejoice with them that we had been able to complete this work. Now they have found more names and the children will do the baptisms. I think the Genealogy Bug has bit them!

Sister Orancia wanted to have her daughter's and her mother's temple work done, but they appeared as
living in newFamily Search. She was able to obtain documents proving their death which we scanned and sent to the Support team so they could correct the information. Sister Orancia was very happy to be able to have the ordinances performed. This is another happy memory.

Brother Cetina was assigned to teach a class on family history to youth in Lakin stake. He brought an old style black and white pedigree chart to see if we could add colors. We told him of the colored fan chart for 9 generations and he became very enthusiastic. In order to make his chart, we had to email the company and ask how to do it, since putting in his name didn't work. They answered back in just a couple of hours with instructions to put a deceased person's name as the starting person, and that way we saved his information on his USB memory so he could take it downtown and have the chart made.

He came back to show us his chart, his coat of arms and more information about his family.
It feels so good to have seen people so happy and know that the ending of some of our projects was successful.
