September 13 is my mother's birthday. On Sept. 12, I did some calculating and realized that next year will be her 100th birthday celebration. In her honor, I'm going to put together some of her thoughts and experiences from the many letters she wrote. It's too bad that many things she wrote are still in Dublán, but this will be a start to help her posterity know her better.
Each of us three children remembered her in different ways. Lynn wrote "I took flowers to mom's grave yesterday. It was beautiful and calm at the cemetery."
I spent eight hours on our shift at the temple, and I know there is no place she would rather have had me be. That way I stayed out of mischief :)
