Picture courtesy of "favorite aunt Rosie" who took notes for our family that was represented by her and Jackson, Rebecca and Victor with their family and Uncle Lynn and Aunt Louann. With Diana's family there were lots of priesthood holders to join in the circle for the blessing ordinance.
We appreciated Gary's sending a portion of Karl's baby blessing. Diana has compiled "notes so they would have the best version possible.

"We bless you that you will continue to develop well as you have in the last couple of months.

We bless you with health and strength, particularly spiritual strength, that you will be an example to your younger siblings.

You were reserved for this time to be raised by a family which loves you.

You are very special in the eyes of your Heavenly Father.

He wants you to remember the lessons taught to you earlier on.

When you turn eight, you will be baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost to guide you.

This will help you prepare to serve an honorable mission. Your younger siblings will follow your example.

We bless you that when the time is appropriate, you will find a worthy daughter of God and take her worthily to the temple and start your own family.

We bless you with these things and all other things Heavenly Father has in store for you."

Karl's Daddy's take on the blessing: "It was a special time and we are very happy to have Karl. He is really starting to look like a little man now."

When I looked closely, I recognized the little suit Karl was wearing. Gary wrote,"Rather than buy something he would probably only wear once, we chose to put him in an appropriate set of clothes that I wore. I believe they were made by Sister Robinson. Diana has really enjoyed putting him in daddy's clothes. She is just waiting to put him in some of the bigger clothes but that will be a bitter sweet moment because he will have grown out of the smallest clothes."
