Missionaries come and missionaries go. That is part of the life of a missionary, but most don't stay for two years in the same area. While we served in the Temple in Mérida, there were 17 full time missionaries who served for part of that time, and only Pres. and Sis. Dyer were there during all that time.

Elder Dale and Sis. Marial Mortenson (CES missionaries who worked with Institute and Perpetual Education Fund) served for 18 months and left when Institute had Easter vacation, April 2010
Cheryl and Stephen Smith, from Snowflake, Arizona, served for 18 months, left May 4, 2010

James and Dixie Palmer had been trying for over 6 months to get their doctor work and visas approved to come to Mérida. They arrived the Oct. 4, 2010.
