The Sánchez family have been part of our Mérida life. The father, Cornelio, and son, Jesús, are gardeners at the Temple. They, with a friend, also participate as a trio in the trova or traditional singing groups in the parks and at people's homes. For Mother's Day--but it was June 1 before they could come--they sang to Sis. Richards and me at our apartment. Brother Elias Caballero, one of the guards who liked to talk with Gerhard, arranged for them to come.

Gerhard couldn't resist performing with them :)
Sis. Sánchez, Isabel, Sis. Yari Cabañas, Sis. Soto formed an appreciate audience.
